a miracle!

Hurrah, had an urge to scrap....

Jonnie's 5th birthday - coredinations cardstock, bo bunny pp, craft for occasions bike stickers and no idea what the letters are! Simple, but getting me back into it!

A miracle!

Thought I'd forgotten what to do!! New papers helped, so here's my first LO for months!

Papers are Bo Bunny U Bug Me, Bazzill cardstock, primas and brads from stash, letter stickers are AC Remarks, Papermania alpha minis

long time no scrap

Very out of practise!!

Bazzill card, Basic Grey scraps (all pp), prima hydranga blossoms, brads from stash, loads of odd letter stickers

The five things are
1. Have you ever rowed before?
2. Why do we need a life jacket?
3. Do you know wha to do?
4. Do I have to come too?
5. Can I hold the coats and watch?

Shimelle's Scrap Like You Mean It Week 8 - cut a photo

All photos are cropped, some rather more heavily than others!

Bazzill, brand new K&Co pp, primas, brads, AC Remarks letter stickers, maya road chipboard swirl, inked and glossy accented.

Sketch #75 from http://stucksketches.blogspot.com/

Shimelle's Scrap Like You Mean It Week 9 - use punches (leaf punch)

and February Week 4 Challenge

6 of something (5pts) - leaves, flowers, brads
Something on LO flips (10pts) - photo flips open to show two others
Repeated first letter in title (10pts) - Tall Trees
Something new (5pts) - papers brad new, only arrived this week!

Brand new Crate pp, Bazzill flower shape, Bazzill blossoms, brads, punched leaves, sizzix alphabet (felt), photo anchor unknown, AC photo corner

Think it might be a bit bare but not sure what else to add! Either that, or I should have maybe used a different backing pp, think this is all too much the same colour. Never mind, it's stuck now!

I used the pencil lines sketch number 120 for this LO. I didn't like it at all last night, I didn't feel it came together very well, but I am quite pleased with it this morning!

Bazzill cardstock, pp from scraps bag, primas, crate chipboard letters (apart from S, which was plain and I covered), gems from market.

Weekly challenge

This week's has taken ages! I've certainly earned my points!!

penny or pennies in your title for 10 points - yes
old stash - only stash bought before 2009 can be used for 10 points - yes, Blonde Moments from years ago!
incorporate a mini book of some type on your layout for 10 points - yes, accordian book from cybercrop

I have no idea how this will ever fit in an album!!!

Odd choice of colours for me, but they matched the lego perfectly. It also meant I had tons of yellow and grey primas and brads to choose from. The LO and the mini book tell the tale of the 4 year old DS who has just discovered "little lego" but with no birthday or Christmas presents on the horizon, the only way he can get any is by saving up his £1 a week poscket money. This set took 4 weeks.

today's projects

Cards - top one was made by Jonnie for Grandad, the red thing is postman pat's van!, the pink one is a new baby card for a friend, and the other one is for my FIL. Sorry, not a great photo.

A very busy LO based on a pagemap Feb 09 sketch. PP was American Crafts (ds with the brown), aqua coloured bazzill, black bazzill edge, thickers letter stickers, with a lakeland W, American Crafts flowers, and a variety of brads from the box.

more scrapping...

Am on a roll!

This was from a January 09 pagemap (http://www.pagemaps.com/jan09maps.htm)

Blue Eyed Boys

Bazzill and papermania card, plus bazzill bling, BG periphery pp and tags, ribbon from Dec kit from 3jollyscrappers, thickers and BG letter stickers, prima black tie blossom, and brad from box.

Am really pleased with how this came out. In real life you can see both Andy and Jonnie have blue eyes!

Done this one using the SLYMI sketch from week 4, and the colours for week 5 (black and white) - the photo is Jonnie and Andy on a walk on NYE in the frost.

Bazzill bling for the background, Blonde Moments pp, primas black tie blossoms, brads from box (think the big white one is Bazzill, and the patterned ones were argos!), Bazzill edge and thickers letters.

Love this!

I've also made a mini book using 6 x 6 acrylic covers, and photos from the same day but have no idea how to photograph it! I am so pleased with the mini book as I made it before Christmas, but didn't have any suitable photos, and it has all come together beautifully today.
